MAN members include bands, musicians, community leaders, labels, visual artists and anyone else with a noteworthy contribution to the metal music industry.  We choose who to represent, and get their news and material featured on MHQtv and MHQnews.

There are two tiers of representation we offer, both free, no signups needed! Tier 1 is MHQnews representation which lets artists & labels post news AUTOMATICALLY to our site themselves using Twitter and have the world see it! Tier 2 is currently in the works and will offer more specialized attention to unknown talent.

Why are we doing this? Simple. We want to give metalheads more of what they love and need! Both a place to find news and releases of what they know AND to give new talent an equal footing. Existing methods for unsigned or otherwise unrecognized talents to “break through” and get the attention they deserve are insufficient.  In creating a network, we use existing social networking platforms to cross-promote our represented talent, with MetalHQ.com serving as a central hub.

Because MetalHQ.com aggregates more than just its own network content but also takes the cream of the crop in video and audio content from around the web, we are an attractive resource to all metal fans and will bring recognition to unknowns better than any other method such as merely having a MySpace, Facebook, Google+ or Twitter account would by themselves.

Being a MHQ Artist Network member is completely supplemental to any other form of representation you may already have.  It’s compatible with traditional labels who do cd releases, AND unsigned artists who only release on the web.  Quite simply, we aim to put you on equal footing no matter what your existing resources, budget, preferred creative choices or distribution methods are.  The only criteria is that you can kick some ass!
